Indian Association of Denmark (IAD), Vejle and the Embassy of India, Copenhagen and with support of other collaborators – Trekantomraadet International Community, Vejle Expats Network (VEN), Indians in Odense and Latviesu Danu Biedriba will organise the 3rd International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 17th June (Saturday) 2017 (date being advanced do to it on a holiday) between 11:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs at Vejle Atletik Stadion, Helligkildevej 2, 7100 Vejle, Denmark.

The event will be organised as an open air and public affair, keeping in mind the health conscious and fitness prone inhabitants of Vejle, Denmark. It is expected that about 100-200 people from all walks of life in Vejle surroundings will attend this event landmark event in recognition of the importance attached to Yoga in all its dimensions. The event provides an excellent opportunity for all yoga enthusiasts and the uninitiated on the practice of yoga as a means to self-realisation and its immense therapeutic value.

The event will include a yoga class with mass participation. This will form the core of exercises on the International Yoga Day.

In connection with celebrations of the 3rd International Day of Yoga on 17th June 2017 at Vejle Atletik Stadion, Helligkildevej 2, 7100 Vejle, Denmark (11:00-12:00hrs), this is to inform that take away Yoga T- Shirts will be provided to the participants on first – come-first-serve basis. Yoga mats may be made available to those who do not bring their own mats on first-come-first-serve basis.

The Indian Association of Denmark (IAD), Vejle invites mass participation from all age groups at the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 17th June 2017.

This is the first time we are organizing the International Day of Yoga in Vejle or at least covering Jylland and Fyn. Welcome and Join the largest Yoga gathering in Vejle so far in the iconic surroundings.
