General Maintenance/HVAC Technician

Your HVAC expertise is our launchpad. You’ll start with building HVAC systems, then quickly cross-train on dry-cleaning and commercial-laundry equipment—machines that share the same compressors, motors, valves, and controls. Add basic automotive and property-maintenance work (or the willingness to learn), and you’ll become our one-stop maintenance pro—saving vendor costs while making Dublin Cleaners your #1 priority.

Skill growth: Paid cross-training on laundry production equipment, basic automotive service, and light building maintenance.
Competitive pay & perks: $65k–$75k base (˜ $30–$35/hr) plus overtime, on-call pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, sick time, free dry cleaning, tool allowance, uniforms.
Year-round security: Steady workload across HVAC, production machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems in our plant, branch stores, and offices.
Cross-train to service dry-cleaning presses, washers, boilers, and compressors built on familiar HVAC components.
Perform preventive maintenance, track parts usage, and reduce outside-vendor spend.
Rotate on-call duties (˜ one week/month) for emergency service.
Handle basic automotive A/C or small-engine repairs and light property-maintenance tasks as trained.
Document work orders accurately; follow all EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards.
Required
8–10 years HVAC service experience with long tenure at prior employers
(will consider 5+ years for candidates showing exceptional stability and skill) .
EPA 608 Universal Certification; NATE preferred.
Strong diagnostics on split, package, and refrigeration systems.
Valid driver’s license; able to pass background, driving, and drug screening .

Preferred / Will Train
Basic automotive maintenance or small-engine A/C repair.
General building/property maintenance skills (plumbing, light electrical, carpentry).
Experience in a family-business or small-team setting.
Full-time, Monday–Friday days; rotating after-hours/on-call.
Primary site: 6845 Caine Rd, Dublin OH; occasional travel to branch stores (company vehicle provided).
Zero critical HVAC or production-line downtime.
Documented vendor cost savings through in-house repairs.
Quarterly cross-training milestones achieved.
Multi-year retention with reliable attendance (bonus eligible).
