Linda's Casa Trejo Mexican Restaurant in Yucaipa, CA is looking for one entry-level line cook / kitchen trainee to join our 34 person strong team. We are located on 34636 County Line Road. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the culinary team and learning essential skills:

• Prep Work: Accurately measure, wash, chop, and portion ingredients according to recipes and daily prep lists.
• Station Setup: Assist in setting up and breaking down assigned stations for service.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Following Instruction: Execute basic cooking tasks (e.g., simple assembly, salad prep, fryer operation) as instructed by management.
• Team Communication: Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
