**What You'll Do** This 14-week paid internship provides the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience uniquely designed to match your specific career goals in the hospitality industry. The program will not only allow you to apply and develop your service and leadership skills, but will also build a strong foundation in operational knowledge to help prepare you for multiple positions within Kimpton. During this timeframe, you will work alongside team members at the front desk for 4 weeks, housekeeping/engineering for 5 weeks, food & beverage for 4 weeks and then rotate thru accounting, sales and catering, and People and Culture for the remainder week. You will encounter a culture led by BE YOURSELF-LEAD YOURSELF-MAKE IT COUNT! This internship will provide an experience that will help increase your marketability, increase confidence and prepare you for what to expect in the hospitality industry. **Time Frame** June 2 thru September 7, 2025 **What You Bring** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. + Current enrollment or recent university graduate with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management required. Sacramento State University preferred. + Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. + You genuinely care for the safety and security of guests. + Current California Food Handler certification + Skillful in verbal and written communication, with phenomenal customer service and attention to detail + Ability to work independently and to lead projects effectively **Why We're Here** We believe heartfelt, human connections make people's lives better.
