As a Software Development Engineer on the Hasbro Pulse team, you will be at the forefront of our digital commerce innovation. You'll join a collaborative team in an agile environment dedicated to building exceptional online shopping experiences for passionate fans and collectors. Your solutions will directly impact millions of fans accessing exclusive collectibles and merchandise from our iconic brands. This position offers the unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with a passion for fan engagement, all within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Build cross-platform applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks. Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and AWS cloud infrastructure. Write maintainable, high-quality features in a team-based development environment. Create, enhance, and consume NPM libraries, both internal and open source. Engage in a shared code base through peer reviews and pull requests. Write and maintain unit and integration tests. Participate in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Supporting production systems through on-call rotations. Adhere to and improve coding standards, continuous integration and deployment processes. Create and maintain project documentation. What You'll Bring 2+ years of industry experience using modern web development technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS3. 2+ years of experience building services using Node.js, .NET Core, or similar technologies. Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs using industry-standard practices with scalability and security in mind. Experience working with relational (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB). Familiarity with setting up and maintaining build and deployment processes for front-end applications and services in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to think out of the box. A curious attitude with an excitement to learn new things and contribute to all areas of the product. Nice to Have AWS services experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge). Experience building and supporting third-party integrations, including integrating with payment providers like PayPal, Stripe, Sailthru, etc. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, especially B2C Commerce Storefront and Order Management Experience building containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of accessibility web standards (WAI-ARIA, WCAG) Experience practicing test driven development. Knowledge of Material UI. Hands-on experience with global standards and multi-language support. Passion for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast brands.
