DESCRIPTION

The Learning Design and Development (LDD) team within the Global Operations Learning and Development (GOLD) organization is seeking a creative and future-focused Senior Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and deliver innovative, technology-enabled learning solutions for WWOps learners.
In this role, you will combine instructional design expertise with the ability to apply emerging AI technologies to enhance the speed, quality, and impact of learning. You will partner with L&D and technology teams to create engaging, data-informed learning experiences and streamline content development workflows.

Key job responsibilities
* Design and develop interactive learning experiences, simulations, and performance support tools using authoring platforms and AI-assisted solutions.
* Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, improve accessibility, and personalize the learner experience.
* Curate, tag, and structure content to make it easy to update, reuse, and integrate with AI-enabled systems.
* Prototype and test emerging learning technologies, including adaptive learning and AI-driven feedback tools, incorporating results into design improvements.
* Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and technologists to deliver scalable solutions that align with business priorities.
* Contribute to the development of guidelines and best practices for using AI and automation in learning design.
* Stay current with trends in learning technology, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in learning design, learning science, instructional design, educational technology, educational psychology, or similar field.
- Fluency in AI applications and the ability to integrate them effectively into the design and development process.
- Proven track record of designing and developing innovative, user-friendly, and scalable technical solutions
- Strong grounding in learning design principles, user experience design and human-centered design principles.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop various learning solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to make business recommendations and influence stakeholders to deliver learning initiatives on time and within scope.
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
