Job Description

Xactly Restoration Recruiters has an elite client seeking an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to join their team in Salem, VA!

The Reconstruction Project Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute construction projects. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors and resource providers involved in construction services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the client experience and overall client satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and sell projects.
  • Develop scope of work for projects.
  • Develop and review estimates.
  • Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.
  • Negotiate terms and set expectations.
  • Collect deposits and draws.
  • Schedule in-house technicians, subcontractors, and/or material suppliers to provide service on active projects.
  • Create project schedule and timeline.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of services.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities and resolve issues.
  • Document and/or review job file to support the services provided.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
  • Compile and resolve punch list items.
  • Perform final walk-through with customer.
  • Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction.
  • Review budgets.
  • Manage expenses and assist in collecting final payment.
  • Manage all warranty activities.
  • Ensure proper permits are acquired.
  • Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
  • Manage any equipment, tools, and materials (assets)
  • Always follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.
  • Be familiar with and be able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent.
  • Continued development of leadership and management skills, as well as restoration/construction expertise.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Previous residential construction management experience required.
  • Superb customer service track record.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
  • Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.
Salary and   Benefits
  • $55,000 to $70,000 DOE plus Commission Opportunities.
