Job Description

Position Brief – Marketing Associate

 

The Marketing Associate is a vital new team member supporting Optima’s corporate and property marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day marketing activities, content creation, research, reporting, administrative tasks, and tracking the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The Marketing Associate will also provide critical support to the marketing team ensuring the continued success of all our communities.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and should possess the following:
What You'll Do
  • Management and content creation for the Optima blog as well as blogs for all property sites.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including market surveys, demographic analyses, marketing performance metrics, and investor/partner updates.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of marketing materials for company and property use.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Manage all Optima social media channels and online presence, oversee property social channels and online advertising, and assist with brand compliance and content development.
  • Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and aggregate data into actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Track campaign metrics and prepare detailed performance reports for internal review.
  • Manage the Optima intranet site, including new content development and ongoing upkeep.
  • Provide general administrative, copywriting, and proofing support to the marketing team.
  • Monitor industry trends and suggest innovative new marketing tactics to improve performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate logistics and support for marketing events and promotions.
  • Identify and order all branded materials for the company, and manage digital business cards companywide.
  • Post news, press releases, and awards on the company website and social media platforms.
  • Prepare and submit award applications as required.
  • Support the Vice President of Marketing and Senior Marketing Associate in additional initiatives as needed
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, process thinking, and organizational skills
  • Experience with social media platforms, online advertising, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with graphic design or content management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated with a bias for action
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
