Your Role
As our Financial Information Systems Specialist, you will be support all aspects of financial IT responsibilities in the Kuehne + Nagel US group. You will support your Financial IT manager in resolving financial information systems inquiries as well as support and lead various financial initiatives with both local and global impact.
Your Responsibilities
- You will act as a strategic business partner to the rest of the US finance functions and business units
- Partner with business and functional units to deliver solutions to the business requirements, by utilizing the knowledge and resources from the global Financial IT (FIT) team
- Act as the daily Level 1 support and primary contact for critical month-end support issues
- Ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders on updates for progress, risks and change management
- Assist in implementation of finance projects, including understanding and analyzing the project requirements, creating specifications, and working closely with the wider project teams to oversee definition to implementation while coordinating with global FIT team
- Provide subject matter expertise to the global FIT team on behalf of KN US group
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, information technology, supply chain management or related field
- 3+ years working experience in Finance / Financial IT tasks
- 2+ years experience in in Freight Forwarding and Logistics strongly preferred
- 2+ years software product development lifecycle management as well as modern software development with distributed teams
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, preferably in the IT and/or finance space
- Strong operational knowledge related to MS Office (Excel, Excess, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), ERP systems, and Tableau

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
