Compensation Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually plus excellent benefits

JOB SUMMARY:

PACE is looking for an experienced and mission-driven GRANTS MANAGER to join the team and organization! The Grants Manager will be member of the Development Team and is a liaison between the agency and grant funders. The Grants Manager is responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. This person serves as the primary grant writer, manages funder relationships, engages in compliance reporting, and supports special project initiatives. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement. The Grant Manager is responsible for all governmental proposals to federal, state, city, and county agencies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researches and identifies new government, corporate, foundation and private funding prospects to match PACE priorities
  • Generates high-quality proposals, narratives, applications and supporting documents in response to solicitations consistent with all policies and procedures of PACE and the requirements and guidelines of the funding agencies.
  • Maintains and builds relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a local, state, federal, county and national level.
  • Maintains primary responsibility for grant schedules and tracking grants
  • Serves as a liaison to all funding agencies and organizations
  • Works with appropriate personnel to research, develop, write and submit letters of inquiry, concept papers and grant proposals.
  • Collaborate with Fiscal to create expenditure and income budgets to accompany proposals
  • Develops and maintains a master file on pending grants and proposals
  • Collaborates with various departments to gather necessary information for grant proposals
  • Ensures proposal is compelling and persuasive, details of needs, objectives, budget, and anticipates outcome
  • Submits grant applications via paper or online portals, and maintain access list
  • Maintains master calendar of grants and prospects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Public Policy or other related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in successful grant writing experience
  • Nonprofit familiarity/experience
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Must be highly organized and ability to implement systems and follow-up processes
  • Proficiency in research, interpreting and analyzing diverse data
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite) and database management skills; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Motivated self-started with the ability to work collaboratively and independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with federal grant applications, submission, approval and management of funds

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass employment verification/reference check
  • Must have reliable transportation
