Perks Deconstruction is a woman and minority owned and operated deconstruction company based in Commerce City, Colorado. We provide residential and commercial dismantling services with a strong focus on environmental responsibility. Our team partners with contractors, nonprofits, and property owners to reduce waste and promote reuse throughout the Denver and Boulder metro areas. As Estimator , you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients. You will conduct job walks, gather project details, and prepare estimates using Buildertrend. This role requires a mix of field presence, client interaction, and office or remote work. Strong communication and critical thinking are essential, along with the ability to move between construction sites and digital tools with ease.

Responsibilities

  • Attend site visits and meet with clients to assess project scope
  • Prepare estimates within 1 to 5 business days based on real-world conditions
  • Interpret blueprints and calculate materials, labor, and time needed for each job
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure smooth project handoff and execution
  • Track project status, gross profit, and sales ratio using Buildertrend
  • Maintain organized records, client communication, and project files
  • Support job costing, planning, and final walkthroughs as needed
  • Help improve estimating processes and team systems

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in construction estimating or project management
  • Ability to read and analyze construction plans
  • Proficient with digital tools and comfortable working in Buildertrend or similar software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and reliable
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the Denver metro area
  • Construction background required
  • Experience in deconstruction, demolition, or sustainability is a plus

Compensation And Benefits

  • Full time position
  • Annual salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, based on experience
  • Up to 15,000 dollars in performance bonuses per year
  • Company vehicle provided for job site travel
  • Health insurance with 75 percent of the monthly premiums covered
  • 1,000 dollar technology stipend if using your own laptop
  • 80 hours of paid vacation per year
  • 8 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays
  • Paid sick leave is accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year, in accordance with Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces Act
  • Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate
  • Flexible scheduling with work hour banking available
