Job Title: Fleet Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing fleet performance, and maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
Analyze fleet data to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service.
Prepare and manage the fleet budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Train and supervise fleet staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and inspections.
Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
Knowledge of fleet management software and tools.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
