eCommerce Director / Product Manager (with Cybersecurity Oversight)

Compensation: Up to $150K

Why this role matters:
This role leads the strategy, performance, and reliability of a high-traffic eCommerce platform, managing everything from merchandising and conversion optimization to backend performance and cybersecurity. The objective is to create a fast, secure, and conversion-optimized online shopping experience that builds customer trust and supports scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the health, performance, and growth of the eCommerce platform, including UX, speed, conversion rate, and reliability.
Coordinate site enhancements, promotions, and A/B testing with developers, marketing, and merchandising teams.
Ensure seamless integration of third-party tools such as reviews, personalization, recommendations, and analytics.
Monitor site uptime, load speed, and mobile responsiveness with a focus on continual optimization.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure.
Support core cybersecurity initiatives including monitoring, threat detection, secure checkout, and data privacy compliance (PCI, CCPA, etc.).
Own the platform roadmap, balancing innovation, conversion, security, and long-term scalability.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience managing or directing eCommerce operations at scale.
Strong grasp of Magento or custom eCommerce stacks (PHP/JS/React environments).
Experience with tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Jira.
Solid understanding of performance optimization including caching, CDNs, and load testing, as well as uptime management.
Basic working knowledge of web security best practices including SSL, WAF, access control, and threat monitoring.
Ability to translate business goals into technical specifications and collaborate cross-functionally with marketers, developers, and executives.
Bonus: Experience in the firearms, sporting goods, or regulated eCommerce industry.
