JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Hagerstown EATS team is seeking an engineer in the field of OBD calibration and development. You should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering. Experience from 2 to 5 years in the area of Engine or aftertreatment calibration is required. Your responsibilities in our group will include: Testing:

Operate world-class heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cells
Take responsibility of efficiently and accurately executing test procedures while concurrently reviewing test results to ensure reliability of data

Dataset function owner:

Calibrate on-board diagnostic functionality pertaining to the aftertreatment system catalysts, filter, sensors, and other technologies
Verify OBD monitor performance and robustness through data analysis from trucks, test cells, and other sources
Plan, conduct, and interpret results from development and verification testing
Innovate OBD algorithms and concepts with respect to future CARB and EPA requirements
Perform calculations by applying the latest analytical methods in support of monitor testing and design
Issue written and oral reports
