JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Hagerstown EATS team is seeking an engineer in the field of OBD calibration and development. You should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering. Experience from 2 to 5 years in the area of Engine or aftertreatment calibration is required. Your responsibilities in our group will include: Testing:

• Operate world-class heavy-duty engine dynamometer test cells
• Take responsibility of efficiently and accurately executing test procedures while concurrently reviewing test results to ensure reliability of data

Dataset function owner:

• Calibrate on-board diagnostic functionality pertaining to the aftertreatment system catalysts, filter, sensors, and other technologies
• Verify OBD monitor performance and robustness through data analysis from trucks, test cells, and other sources
• Plan, conduct, and interpret results from development and verification testing
• Innovate OBD algorithms and concepts with respect to future CARB and EPA requirements
• Perform calculations by applying the latest analytical methods in support of monitor testing and design
• Issue written and oral reports
