POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Supervisor and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Completion of two years of post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
RDMS required. Registry eligible candidates will be eligible for hire but must be RDMS certified within one year of employment.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of Ultrasound and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic and/or Ultrasound equipment.
Work requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists.
