Now Hiring: Transportation Fleet Manager

We're looking for an experienced and results-driven Transportation Fleet Manager to lead daily operations, support business growth, and manage a team that keeps our fleet on the road and our cities moving.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As the Transportation Fleet Manager , you’ll be responsible for all aspects of fleet operations in your assigned market. This includes financial performance, team leadership, compliance, and service quality. You'll work alongside a diverse workforce of employees and contractors to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight : Manage market-level P&L; optimize costs while maximizing revenue.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure full adherence to all DOT and local transportation regulations.
• Market Expansion : Identify opportunities for growth and implement service improvements.
• Fleet Management : Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance, and availability.
• Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and manage staff and contractors; handle performance and HR matters.
• Talent Strategy : Drive recruitment and retention of qualified drivers and support personnel.
• Operational Excellence : Maintain high standards of service, efficiency, and on-time performance.
• Performance Reporting : Analyze KPIs, prepare detailed reports, and provide updates to leadership.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Demonstrated experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L and budget management
• In-depth knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to lead teams of both employees and independent contractors
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with fleet management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, or a related field preferred
