Unloads incoming bulk and semi-bulk raw materials, loads bulk shipments, hauls bulk and semi-bulk raw materials, packages and warehouses products. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES** + Starts up, monitors, and adjusts the operation of drying system consisting of drum dryer, augers, air compressor, blowers and other related plant equipment. + Directs Utility Operator to haul additional raw material when feed hopper is low. + Bags material and stacks on wood pallets: Loads bulk trucks and railcars. + Ensures that all orders are filled and loaded properly and that all bags are within weight limitations. + Services and performs primary maintenance on plant equipment. Assists maintenance on major breakdowns when possible. + Completes appropriate production logs and records as required. + Stays constantly aware of the status of the production process in order to maintain desired levels of production and quality. + Cleans out dryer and recycles material in the case of production upsets. + Operates forklift to load trucks and stack pallets in warehouse. + Keeps plant in neat, workable condition.
