Job Summary

1)Providing assistance with writing manuscripts

- assist with writing scientific manuscripts on eye diseases
- conducting scientific literature reviews
- assist with technical reviews of manuscripts
- assist with submitting papers to journals and helping to respond to comments from reviewers

2)Assist with various administrative tasks

- assist with writing content for the NHS/NHS2 intranet site (e.g. to help new investigators learn about how to analyze cohort data and to learn about completed past substudies
- assist with assessing the feasibility of a proposed study by an external investigators and assist with processing paperwork involved in onboarding new investigators.

Skills needed

- Understanding of basic biology.
- Proficiency in conducting literature reviews.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Programming skills (R SAS) preferred.

Qualifications

We are seeking a temp (per diem) Research Assistant who can assist with the following research tasks:
