Job Title: Sleep Technologist – Night Shift

Job Description:
A skilled and dependable Sleep Technologist is needed for a 13-week assignment at a reputable sleep medicine facility. This position offers consistent night shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements. The technologist will be responsible for conducting overnight sleep studies and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with established protocols.
Shift Details:
Shift: 12-hour nights
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: 3 nights/week
Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekends/On-Call: Not required
Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment and patients for polysomnographic recordings
Monitor patients throughout the night and document observations
Ensure accurate data collection and troubleshoot equipment issues
Score and interpret sleep studies as needed
Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Requirements:
Current New York State license as a Sleep Technologist
BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Previous experience in conducting sleep studies preferred
Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
