About the Role We are seeking a
Senior/Lead UX Designer with deep expertise in
design systems to join a team that powers digital experiences across multiple platforms. This role focuses on evolving and scaling a unified design system that supports web, iOS, and Android products. You’ll work on creating cohesive, accessible, and scalable design foundations that enable product teams to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
Job Description As part of the Design Systems Team, you will define how the organization creates and maintains a shared design foundation for both customer-facing and internal tools. You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to build reusable components, design tokens, and documentation that streamline workflows and improve design quality.
This position requires strong systems thinking, mastery of Figma, and experience applying AI-driven workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability. You will play a key role in ensuring every digital product reflects a unified, inclusive, and accessible design approach.
Core Responsibilities - Design System Strategy: Drive evolution of the design system to improve usability, accessibility, and scalability.
- Component & Pattern Creation: Build and document reusable Figma components, variants, tokens, and responsive behaviors.
- Governance & Maintenance: Implement versioning and contribution workflows to maintain system integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers and product teams to align design and development.
- Documentation & Education: Create guidelines and training materials to support adoption.
- AI Integration: Explore and apply AI tools to improve design system efficiency and accessibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging tools and trends in design systems.
Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience designing and maintaining large-scale design systems.
- Expertise in Figma (component libraries, tokens, variants, auto-layout, versioning, plugins).
- Strong understanding of responsive design for web, iOS, and Android.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience collaborating in agile environments and partnering with developers for design-to-code alignment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing system-level thinking and component creation.
Preferred: - Experience leveraging AI tools for design system workflows.
- Familiarity with governance processes and lifecycle management for design systems.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to explain design decisions.
Technical Skills - Must-Have:
- Component libraries, tokens, variants, auto-layout, versioning, and plugins.
- Design Systems expertise.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
