Senior Radiation Therapist Job Type Regular Company Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department Radiation Medicine Time Type Full time Weekly Hours 40 Fte 1 Shift First Shift (United States of America) Summary The Radiation Therapist performs complex radiation therapy duties with a high degree of independence, including the delivery of less common treatment procedures. This role involves administering planned courses of radiation therapy, maintaining and verifying accurate patient records, and ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles. The Therapist also regulates radioactive materials, provides specialized procedures, and offers physics support as needed. The starting salary for this position is $72,581 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications Required Education and Experience License Requirement License to practice as a radiation therapist in the State of New York. Education and Experience Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in the practice of Radiation Therapy. Note Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
