Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
+ 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
+ Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
+ 4 years of experience as a software developer, architect, technical advocate, consultant, community/product manager or consultant working with various platforms.
+ Experience in the areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence including Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
+ Experience in coding/engineering in the technical domain.
+ Ability to guide developers on the use of the technologies.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the motivation to share technical knowledge and information with others.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will work with teams developing foundational Artificial Intelligence (AI) software, libraries, and critical developer tools such as Software Development Kits (SDKs), Command Line Interface (CLIs), Integrated Development Environment (IDE) integrations, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) solutions to ensure a seamless, intuitive, and powerful AI native developer experience for internal to Google and external users. This includes advocating enhancements to model life cycle management, framework support, and the integration of generative AI capabilities. Ultimately, you'll build AI solutions and accelerate AI innovation towards ensuring developers have the most productive and delightful experience within Google and with Google Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Define and drive the product goal and strategy for an AI native developer experience across Google Cloud's Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) offerings.
+ Build external community ecosystem of influencers, meetups, and experts who can validate and amplify our AI native developer experience messages and extend our reach.
+ Stay at the leading edge of AI technologies to build compelling technical content including demos, courses, sample applications, and best practice guides that showcase AI native developer experience for training, tuning, and inference workloads using technologies like JAX or PyTorch.
+ Lead go-to-market motions that prominently feature Google Cloud's AI native developer experience as a differentiator.
+ Lead teams through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, including developer satisfaction, adoption of developer tools, and time-to-productivity to measure the success of AI native developer experience initiatives.
