Job Description

G-Net Construction Corp., a second-generation general contracting firm serving the five boroughs of New York City for more than 65 years, is seeking a disciplined and relationship-driven Part Time Sales & Business Development Manager.
This is a pivotal role for a motivated professional who can bring structure, energy, and follow-through to our sales efforts, turning qualified leads into lasting client relationships.

Our NYC commercial construction projects range from facility maintenance work to multi-million-dollar capital renovations across nonprofit, medical, educational, and faith-based sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Review daily project leads from multiple subscription platforms; identify opportunities aligned with company criteria.
  • Follow up on all open estimates and proposals on a defined schedule.
  • Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure timely proposal delivery and client communication.
  • Maintain consistent client contact with monthly/quarterly check-ins with current and past clients to uncover upcoming projects.
  • Track all outreach, follow-ups, and results using Microsoft Teams and Monday.com.
  • Provide concise end-of-day recaps and next-day agendas.
  • Represent G-Net professionally at meetings and industry events.
  • Maintain a high level of client retention through consistent communication and follow-up. 
  • Proposal Track proposal outcomes and maintain accurate bid status reports.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in construction, building services, or related A/E/C or real estate industries.
  • Strong understanding of project life cycles, estimating processes, and client procurement.
  • Proven ability to generate and maintain high-value client relationships.
  • Proficient with CRM or lead-tracking platforms (Monday.com, MS Office 365, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required when representing the company.


Compensation & Structure:

  • Base salary $40,000 – $45,000 based on experience.
  • Tiered commission plan: percentage based on project size and profitability.
  • Weekly mileage and toll reimbursement (with prior approval).
  • Company iPhone and iPad provided.
