We are currently seeking a driven and personable Roofing Sales Representative / Estimator to join our growing team.
Position Summary
As a Roofing Sales Representative / Estimator, you will be responsible for generating new business, inspecting residential roofs, preparing detailed estimates, and guiding clients through the roofing process. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct roof inspections to assess damage, measurements, and scope of work
Prepare accurate estimates and present professional proposals to clients
Generate new business through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and leads
Educate homeowners on roofing options, warranties, and the insurance claims process
Coordinate with project managers, installers, and insurance adjusters
Maintain detailed records of estimates, communications, and project notes
Follow up with clients throughout the sales and project cycle
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and company goals
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in roofing sales, estimating, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems and materials
Ability to read scopes of work and insurance claims (Xactimate knowledge is a plus)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a customer-first attitude
Comfortable working in the field and conducting inspections
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to climb ladders and walk on roofs safely
Compensation amp; Benefits
Base salary: $62,000 – $68,000 per year
