We are looking for energetic and customer-focused Hosts to join our award-winning team at our high-volume pizzeria, rated number one in the country. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them with a warm smile and providing exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, thank them for choosing our pizzeria, and provide a positive first impression.
• Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Communicate estimated wait times and seating options to guests accurately and professionally.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring they are seated in a clean and comfortable environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and support as needed, such as retrieving highchairs, accommodating special requests, or answering questions about the menu.
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and other team members to ensure smooth seating transitions and efficient table turnover assisting team as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess stand and waiting area, including sanitizing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and organizing menus.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Accurately retrieve, prepare and provide guests with their orders for pick up
• Assist with various tasks as needed to support the front-of-house team and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a host or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Night and weekend shifts will be required for this position with the availability to work until close.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.

COMPENSATION:
$16.20 per hour + tips *opportunity to earn a competitive income through tips*
