This position will work closely with sales teams to determine the best strategic approach for every sales pitch by providing timely and relevant information related to the Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland commercial real estate markets. This position may attend client pitches and strategy sessions to educate clients and prospects on the current real estate market and impact it has on real estate decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Mastery of Cresa’s proprietary analytics platform (BlueChip) and the Definitive Healthcare platform to provide critical analytics necessary for client pitches and business development
  • Design and maintain dashboards and automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Salesforce, and other analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) to support data-driven decision-making
  • Create analytical deliverables to support the sales process, such as labor analytics, economic overviews, industry trends, white papers etc., ensuring accuracy and quality of work, and executed in a timely manner
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across various asset classes and geographic regions.
  • Gather business intelligence to support recommended insights and solutions that address prospect’s corporate real estate needs
  • Perform the research, data gathering and analysis necessary to determine the requirements for new sales pitches
  • Collect available data to analyze competitors’ marketing, strategies and tactics in the
  • Support the delivery of pitch materials for presentations to prospective clients’ senior leadership

Requirements

  • B.A. in business, economics, urban planning, or commensurate experience
  • 1 - 3 years of research-focused experience preferably in data analysis, real estate/urban planning, database management
  • Experience with CoStar, Salesforce, ArcGIS, InDesign is an advantage
  • Expertise with Tableau, PowerBi, SQL or similar, preferred
  • Accountability in supporting internal and external clients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, expressing ideas clearly and cohesively, comfortable presenting to leadership/decision-makers
  • Flexible and resilient; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Expert in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel pivot tables, Word, PowerPoint)
