The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. The role requires strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and the interdisciplinary team. The RN will manage various drips (excluding titration of cardiac drips), provide wound care, and manage patients with a variety of diagnoses including acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia and sepsis.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience

Special Considerations:
- Every other weekend required
- Call required as needed
- Must float within scope of practice
- RTO should be close to 1 week
- No local candidates (75 mile radius)
- Navy blue/white scrubs
Scheduling:
- Day/Eve ratios are 5:1 (stretch 6-7)
- Night ratios are expected to be 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in)
- Open to accommodating block schedule (not guaranteed)
- Orientation: 4 hours (modules prior to starting, 4-hour classroom with Educator, rest of the 12-hour shift is spent orienting on the unit)
