The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) provides care for a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma procedures. This role involves scrubbing and circulating, and may include working with two Davinci robots and assisting with transplant programs involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures.
- Scrub and circulate in the operating room.
- Assist with procedures utilizing Davinci robots.
- Participate in transplant programs.
- Monitor and maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care accurately and completely.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- RN License (NY state license ONLY)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Minimum of two (2) years of OR experience, preferably in a level 1 trauma center
- Ability to scrub and circulate
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive)
- Experience with craniotomies
- Strong Ortho background
Special Considerations:
- Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts (Day/Evening/Night)
