Job Title: Radiation Therapy Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Unit: Radiation Therapy
Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
Shift: 5x8 Days
Compensation: $2,470 weekly gross
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Technician to provide safe, accurate, and effective radiation treatment to patients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate with oncology teams to ensure high-quality treatment delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
Monitor patients during treatment and document progress accurately.
Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout therapy.
Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to support treatment plans.
Maintain compliance with departmental, state, and federal regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
Education:
Associate’s Degree required.
Certifications:
Active ARRT certification.
BLS (AHA) certification.
