Responsibilities:
- Accurately position patients for radiation therapy treatments.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment (Elekta preferred).
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to optimize treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Radiation Therapist certification.
- Experience in radiation therapy.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Elekta equipment.
- Experience with Mosaiq.
- Experience with ExacTrac.
Special Considerations:
- On-call requirements are unknown.
Scheduling:
- Weekends are not required.
- Block schedules are not required.
- The expected ratio is 2 therapists per linac.
