Job Description

A fast-growing and well-established long term care team is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician to join their team in Bronx, NY. Responsibilities Include:

• Managing routine follow-ups and assessing residents' health conditions to determine a plan of care.
  
• Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan.
  
• Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients' medical history.
  
• Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities. 
  
• Prescribe medication and drugs. 
  
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team.
  
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members, and the medical team.
  

Requirements:

• MD license in the state of NY
  
• Board Certification
  
• DEA license
  
• Ok with nursing home setting
  
• Responsibility and reliability
  

Schedule:

• Full time (40 hours/weekly)
  

Compensation:

• Competitive salary ranging between $200,000-$275,000 annually + Bonus structure!
