Position Summary:

Transports patients to and from Department and assists technologists with patient care and positioning. Assists with clerical duties, film filing, film processing and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

BLS Certification and maintain current

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. HS Degree or equivalent
• 2. Hospital Transport experience
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Physical Requirements: 1. Requires the ability to walk pushing equipment up to 400 pounds frequently. 2. Must have dexterity, coordination, visual/auditory acuity to perform duties. 3. Must be able to reach, stretch and assist patients routinely
