The Patient Care Tech is a caregiver who assists the health care professionals in the delivery of patient care,
The PCT provides care under the direction of RN utilizing the skills and techniques established within the job description,
Job Overview:
The Patient Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition.
