The PCT provides care under the direction of RN utilizing the skills and techniques established within the job description,
Job Overview:
The Patient Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition.
