If you are looking for exciting career opportunities with growth potential, come and join the team at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital! **What will you be doing:** The Nursing Assistant (CNA) Per Diem assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. + Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit. + Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients. + Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment. + Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. + Answers phones and call lights. + Ensures unit is stocked with supplies. + Assists patient transporter as needed. + Other duties as assigned. **_Shift = Nights, 7pm to 730am (Per Diem = 6-Shifts in 6-weeks)_** **Qualifications** **Experience Requirements:** Minimum 6-months to 1-year of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years preferred. Required to have experience in acute care setting. **Educational/Certification Requirements:** High School Diploma/GED. Current BLS required. (BCLS certification preferred).
