A 10-bed Neuro Intensive Care Unit in Ocala is seeking experienced Neuro ICU RNs to join a high-acuity, fast-paced environment specializing in complex neurological and critical-care patients. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about neurocritical care, professional growth, and achieving excellent patient outcomes. Strong clinical reasoning and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based neurocritical care
• Perform neurological assessments, reassessments, and continuous monitoring
• Complete all procedures and interventions per provider orders with accurate documentation
• Administer medications safely and evaluate patient responses
• Escalate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support non-pharmacological care strategies, including prevention and lifestyle education
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Neuro ICU
Required:
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years)
• High-acuity experience preferred; strong med-surg backgrounds considered
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate license
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS within 90 days of hire

• Interest or prior experience in neurocritical care and management of complex neurological conditions
