Responsibilities: • Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines • Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business • Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs • Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners  • Work closely with borrowers, internal staff, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Work live transfers & self-generated leads – Turn them into closed loans • Expand your network – Realtors, builders, financial advisors & more • Own your pipeline – Deliver elite customer service & high close rates • Collaborate with top processors & underwriters – Get deals done fast • Stay sharp – Leverage ongoing training & market insights to stay ahead Qualifications: • Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • 3-5 years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations • Active California NMLS License • 1–5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer • Proven experience originating conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA, FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the industry through coaching • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations and underwriting guidelines • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills • Confident, sales-driven closer with a track record of building and managing a pipeline • Competitive, motivated, and self-starting with a desire to grow About Company: Why You’ll Love Working Here Launch your career as a Junior Loan Officer with a 4–6 week intensive training programGain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to become a top producerLearn directly from experienced leaders and top Loan OfficersGet hands-on experience and build real, marketable skillsWork in a high-energy, collaborative culture that’s fun, motivating, and rewardingSee hard work recognized and follow a clear path for career growthHelp clients tap into their home equity and achieve meaningful goals every day
