Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III
**Shift Schedule:**
Long-Term Coverage
- Full-Time - Seven Days On/Seven Days Off, 12-Hour Shifts (Day or Night)
**Required Neonatal Procedures:**
- Nursery Level III/NICU
- Ventilation Management
- Invasive (Endotracheal Tube) -
Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
- Chest Tube Insertion - Exchange Transfusions
- Placement of Umbilical Arterial Catheter (UAC) and Umbilical Venous Catheter (UVC)
- Lumbar Punctures (LP) - Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume and Blood Pressure Issues - Insertion of Central Line - Insertion of Arterial Line - Diagnostic and Therapeutic Taps
**Qualifications:**
- Board Certification in Neonatology and experience as a NICU Physician Assistant is
**required**. - Active New York State License is **required**.
- Candidates must possess experience and demonstrate comfort in managing patients independently, which is **required**.
