Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Hours

• Days - 40 hours per week
• Hours of operation -Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 7 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM.

Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, therapy, community-based support and advocacy to adults with serious mental illness and their families.
• Work in collaboration with the ACT team and other community providers to facilitate efficient and effective operation of the program.
• Assist with the orientation training of ACT team members and co-facilitate ACT team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention, on-call crisis coverage and clinical consultation to other on-call staff as needed.
• Maintain exceptional clinical assessment, client engagement and intervention skills.
• Demonstrate competency in collaborating with clients, family members, agency staff and community partners.
• Manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining cultural competency and sensitivity.

Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling with LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of two years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire.
• CAADC credential or active approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
