Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Hours

Days - 40 hours per week
Hours of operation -Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 7 PM, Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM.

Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, therapy, community-based support and advocacy to adults with serious mental illness and their families.
Work in collaboration with the ACT team and other community providers to facilitate efficient and effective operation of the program.
Assist with the orientation training of ACT team members and co-facilitate ACT team meetings.
Provide crisis intervention, on-call crisis coverage and clinical consultation to other on-call staff as needed.
Maintain exceptional clinical assessment, client engagement and intervention skills.
Demonstrate competency in collaborating with clients, family members, agency staff and community partners.
Manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining cultural competency and sensitivity.

Licensed Master Social Worker - Mental Health Requirements

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling with LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan.
Minimum of two years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire.
CAADC credential or active approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
