JOB TITLE: Leasing Agent

JOB TYPE: Full-time; onsite

LOCATION: Monaco Lakes 1 & Monaco Lakes 2 Apartments

The two properties are directly across the street from each other:

Monaco Lakes 2 - 2330 S. Kearney St. Denver, CO 80222

SUMMARY

We at Coughlin Property Management are seeking a full-time on-site Leasing Agent position for a 500+ unit multi-family apartment community at Monaco Lakes! This position will be responsible for leasing apartment units, managing resident inquiries, and ensuring that our property is presented in the best possible light. If you have a passion for customer service, a strong sales background, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents.
  • Assist applicants with the leasing process, including application completion and lease signing.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of property amenities, rental rates, and market trends.
  • Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely manner to convert inquiries into leases.
  • Handle resident requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to ensure that units are move-in ready.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in the property management system.
  • Promote resident retention through outstanding service and engagement.
  • Organize and participate in marketing and community events to enhance property visibility.
  • Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy; participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
  • Be an expert on current market conditions and trends, by shopping competition and attending Cardinal trainings.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the tour path to ensure for a positive first impression of the community.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
  • Assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1-2 years of leasing in multi family experience required
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High-energy and enjoys a fast pace environment.
  • Enjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service.
  • Great with people — warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone.
  • Basic computer skills: typing and writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
  • Available evenings and weekends.

COMPENSATION

  • $21-$22 hourly + leasing bonus

SCHEDULE

  • 8-hour shift
  • Weekends required

Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities and must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, snow, heat, hail, wind and sleet.

The Leasing Agent must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Rare travel may be required to assist sister properties as needed.
