Our main headquarters is located in East Hartford, CT with our manufacturing headquarters located in South Windsor, CT. We are seeking local candidates within a commutable proximity (preferred).
Under moderate to minimal supervision, provide technical/operational drafting and design support to the engineering functional groups. Perform the support requires by Engineering to document new designs via Creo parametric modeling and drafting. Includes use of Creo, CAD modeling and drafting, GD&T analysis, support drawing sign-off and release, and maintenance of the Drafting Manual containing HyAxiom drafting standards. Identify standard parts and materials used across all components, provide feedback, and update the drafting manual to streamline the product definition process. Apply Drafter and Designer skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area. Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet the requirements of the position. Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues and refer only the more complex issues to higher levels.
