We are looking for a tax professional to help our clients prepare and file their taxes. You’ll provide guidance on how businesses can minimize their tax liability now and how they can optimize their tax payment for the long term. Responsibilities: • Honor client privacy by keeping confidential documents safe and organized • Analyze each client’s financial records, including their income statements and previous tax returns to calculate the amount of taxable income each client possesses • Help the client plan for future tax payments and tell them what actions they can take to pay less later on • Check each tax form for accuracy and tax compliance • Schedule consultations to go over tax strategy with clients and provide a price estimate • Manage QuickBooks Online & Desktop accounts for assigned clients • Perform full-charge bookkeeping : reconciliations, payroll processing, financial statement prep • Complete prior-year and delinquent tax return preparation projects • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and small businesses Qualifications: • Obtained a current Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel • Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field • Advanced ability to comprehend federal and state tax laws and can easily navigate tax code documents for both basic and atypical returns • Has used standard tax computing software to file returns • Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required • 3+ years experience in tax preparation (individual & business) • Knowledge of IRS representation and tax resolution procedures • Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and payroll processing • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills • Excellent organizational and client communication skills About Company: F&F Accounting & Tax Solutions PLLC is a full-service payroll, bookkeeping, and tax firm that helps small business professionals turn their dreams into reality — building thriving businesses and legacies for themselves and their families.
