Job Description

Local company seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with knowledge of tire maintenance and replacement. 

 
Job Site is located in Metter, Ga     

Pay rate: $18-$26 per hour depending on experience   

Requirements: 

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines, transmissions other mechanical systems
• Have the skills and experience to inspect, remove, replace, and repair tires on heavy equipment and commercial vehicles  
• Ability to perform tire balancing, rotations, and alignments as needed   
• Be able to maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Ability to conduct regular maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns
• Have the knowledge and skills to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine and  mechanical issues
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
• Have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Must have the ability to lift heavy equipment and tires as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• ASE Certification is a plus (preferred but not required)
