As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, you'll be joining a privately-owned clinic with a dedicated team across five locations, specializing in hearing, balance, and ear health services. We’re committed to helping our team members achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals, and we support each other in providing unmatched patient care. CEC is in network with the vast majority of insurance plans, including Medicare. We are not obligated to or owned by any hearing aid manufacturers.
WHO YOU ARE
ROLE OBJECTIVES – WHAT WE NEED
Comprehensive Hearing Evaluations:Conduct thorough assessments of patients' hearing abilities using various diagnostic tests and equipment.
Hearing Aid Selection and Fitting:Recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions based on patients' hearing loss, lifestyle, and preferences. Provide expert guidance on device selection and ensure proper fitting and adjustment for optimal performance.
Counseling and Education: Offer personalized counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and the use and care of hearing aids and assistive devices.
Follow-up Care: Provide ongoing support and follow-up care to monitor patients' progress with their hearing aids. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure continued satisfaction and improved hearing outcomes.
Tinnitus Management: Assess and provide treatment options for patients experiencing tinnitus, including counseling, sound therapy, and other specialized interventions.
Collaboration:Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for patients.
Community Outreach:Participate in community outreach events, educational seminars, and workshops to raise awareness about hearing health and the services offered at Colorado Ear Care.

QUALIFICATIONS
NBC-HIS
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Colorado.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
WORK HOURS
We’ve designed our schedule with shorter Fridays to support a healthy work-life balance for our team.
