Job Title: Golang Developer
Job Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

• 8+ yr experience

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java Spring Boot for backend and Angular for frontend

• Collaborate with Cross functional teams to define design and ship new features

• Write clean maintainable and efficient code

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack

• Ensure application security and data protection

• Stay UpToDate with emerging technologies and frameworks

Required Skills Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs

• Handson experience with Angular v8 TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases eg MySQL MongoDB

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks JUnit Jasmine Karma

• Good problem solving and communication skills

Skills

• Mandatory Skills : Java, Angular,SOA, JavaScript, Microservices, React, SpringBoot, Cloud ArchitectureDesign, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems and services.

• Develop backend APIs, implement system instrumentation, and produce clear documentation.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers and product owners on solution design and technical decision-making.

• Participate in all phases of fast-paced product development, from concept to deployment.

• Mentor and support junior engineers as needed.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: What You Bring to the Team

• BS/BA degree (Computer Science or related technical field preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience

• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers

• Strong understanding of:

• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Data structures and algorithms

• Advanced proficiency in:

• Golang

• Java

• Python

• Experience working with:

• gin

• OIDC

• gRPC

• Protocol Buffers (protobuf)

• GraphQL

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with RDBMS

• Experience with NoSQL databases

• Experience designing or operating Distributed Systems (both system design and data storage)

• Working knowledge of:

• Docker

• Kubernetes

• Cloud environments such as GCP or AWS

• Build tools (CI/CD, compilers, build pipelines)
