Laboratory Glassware Technician – Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: 145 days, Contract-to-Hire
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory environment? This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields who want to take their first step into the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain equipment used for processing laboratory glassware.
Collect used glassware from labs and ensure proper cleaning and sterilization.
Distribute sterile glassware and solutions to laboratory teams.
Maintain inventory of glassware and supplies, placing orders when needed.
Safely operate specialized equipment such as autoclaves.
Prepare basic laboratory solutions for use in research and testing.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with documentation updates.
Support laboratory safety programs and participate in safety activities.
Perform additional duties as required to support lab operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions, prioritize safety, and work independently.
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
