What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience working on standby generators and related equipment up to 2MW.
• Ability to perform full preventative maintenance and conduct load bank tests.
• Expertise in ATS systems and other electrical equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Strong knowledge of natural gas and/or diesel engines.
• Own your tools (or be willing to obtain them if hired).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter who thrives working independently in the field.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Service, repair, and diagnose standby power generators.
• Perform start-ups, preventative maintenance, and load bank testing.
• Maintain and repair ATS units (including regular and bypass models).
• Work on-site at diverse customer locations, including hospitals, nursing homes, and office buildings.
• Service a range of generator brands and maintain supporting systems like fuel, cooling, and electrical.
• Drive and maintain a company-provided service truck, ensuring parts and tools are in top shape.
• Clean, inspect, and determine the reusability of parts.
