Full-Time Weekday Pet Sitter & Dog Walker – Hands N Paws

Hands N Paws is looking for dependable, animal-loving pros to join our full-time weekday pet care team ! If spending your days with wagging tails, happy purrs, and being trusted to care for pets in their homes sounds like your dream job, we want to hear from you.

ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN:

✓ Work full-time, Monday–Friday year-round (generally 7 AM–4 PM when most visits occur)
✓ Service all areas within I-270 (no city restrictions): Bexley, Central, UA, Dublin, etc.
✓ Maintain reliable transportation plus a backup plan
✓ Pass a background check
✓ Commit to professional standards of care for every pet

Core Responsibilities:

✓ Follow Custom Care Plans – Provide feeding, meds, and activities exactly as instructed.
✓ Arrive On Time – Keep pets on schedule for meals, walks, and potty breaks.
✓ Ensure Safety – Secure leashes, gates, and monitor each pet’s health.
✓ Provide Updates – Send real-time photos and notes through our app after each visit.
✓ Earn Trust – Treat pets and homes respectfully, reporting concerns promptly.

Must-Have Qualifications:

✓ Valid License & Insured Vehicle (plus backup transport)
✓ Clean Background Check (pass screening/references)
✓ Smartphone Skills (comfortable with scheduling & documenting visits)
✓ Physical Readiness (walk dogs, lift pets, handle energetic animals)

Compensation:

Full-time weekday team members are paid 50% base commission on all pet services completed. Rates include:
💲 $12 (20-min visit) | $13.50 (30-min visit) | $20 (45-min visit) | $26 (60-min visit)

Earning Boosts:
✓ $3–5 for multi-pet households
✓ $10 for same-day requests
✓ $15 for holidays
✓ 100% of tips (often $5–$20+)

Biweekly payroll via direct deposit.

Important Note:

Full-time weekday pet care is fast-paced and hands-on. You’ll often handle 6–8+ visits per day, follow precise care routines, manage active dogs, and document every detail of a pet’s wellbeing — rain or shine . Reliability, stamina, and attention to detail are key to keeping pets safe, happy, and healthy while their humans are away.
