Full-Time Live-In Nanny – Marquette, MI A busy and loving household in Marquette, MI is seeking a reliable, warm, and highly organized full-time live-in nanny to care for three children (ages 8, 11, and 11). The family values consistency, kindness, and structure, and is looking for someone who can balance nurturing care with firm guidance. The family would like someone who becomes a trusted, long-term partner in their home and is ideally looking for a two-year commitment.
Compensation & Benefits - Competitive weekly salary (payroll; additional compensation when stepchildren are present)
- Guaranteed hours with a set rotational schedule (10 days on and 4 days off with some flexibility if schedules change)

Schedule - Core Hours (School Year):
- Monday–Friday: 6:15–8:00 AM, 2:30–7:30 PM (stay later as needed until a parent is home)
- Weekends: Flexible/on-call; family will confirm in advance. If not needed, nanny may have time off.
- Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off. Guaranteed 4 days off every 2 weeks (Thursday morning 8 AM through Monday 8 AM).
- Summer & School Breaks: Hours adjust depending on children’s activities and the presence of stepchildren and will be full day. Flexibility required.
- Travel: Family spends time at their lake house (20 minutes away) on weekends and during summer. Nanny should be a confident swimmer and comfortable supervising children around water.
Key Responsibilities - Morning Routine: Support children in waking up, making beds, getting dressed, packing lunches, preparing breakfast, and ensuring timely school departures.
- Transportation & Activities: Safely manage school drop-offs/pickups, extracurriculars, playdates, ABA therapy sessions, and music lessons using the family’s vehicle.
- After-School Support: Oversee afternoon routines, provide homework help, and encourage positive study habits.
- Evening Routine: Support after-school activities, meal prep.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks; manage grocery shopping and kitchen organization related to the children.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain organized and tidy spaces related to the children, including kitchen cleanup, bedrooms, and play areas. The family has a housekeeper who comes multiple times a week.
- Communication & Coordination: Work closely with parents (and sometimes stepchildren) to maintain consistent schedules and parenting style.
Qualifications - Minimum 2+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience (school-aged experience preferred)
- Experience working with neurodiverse children (Autism/ADHD) a plus
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (family car provided)
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPR and First Aid certification (adult, pediatric, infant)
- Warm, patient, and trustworthy personality with strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible, dependable, and able to manage a busy household routine
- Ability to swim and supervise children in/around water
