A leading provider of intelligent mail equipment, software and services is looking for a field service engineer to be based in the Chicago metro area. This is a full time position that will allow you to work from home and travel around to a few customer sites. They are looking for a technician who can troubleshoot hardware and software issues. You would be responsible for installations, preventative maintenance and training of customer staff as operators and basic maintenance technicians on their equipment. They will offer an hourly wage from $20.00 to $30.00 pending on experience with full benefits and overtime. They offer mileage. Any overnights they will cover hotels and meals. Ideal candidates are individuals who have worked on related mail inserters and are factory trained by Bell & Howell, Buhrs, Kern, Pitney Bowes or W&D Machiner mail inserting machinery.
