Job Title: EHR Application Analyst Billing

This position may be performed remotely from the following locations within the United States of America: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, and Indiana.
HCL Healthcare is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHR Application Analyst Billing to join our IT Care Delivery Applications team.
This remote role (within specified states) supports the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of EHR billing workflows.
The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, a customer service mindset, and a strong understanding of healthcare billing operations to ensure our systems meet clinical and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support & Maintenance:
Provide day-to-day technical support to end users, resolving issues and troubleshooting errors within the EHR billing module.
Perform regular updates, patches, and system maintenance to ensure security, reliability, and performance.
Workflow Optimization:
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical stakeholders to customize and optimize billing workflows and EHR functionality.
Implement approved operational enhancements and translate billing process needs into system functionality.
Testing & Documentation:
Participate in system testing and validation during upgrades and new feature rollouts.
Document system configurations, support procedures, and issue resolutions to support team knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with IT teams, clinicians, revenue cycle, and health information management professionals to align system functionality with business goals.
Build strong relationships with internal customers including nurses, physicians, and operational leaders.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
Experience:
07 years of IT or healthcare experience.
Exposure to EHR systems (Epic preferred) is strongly desirable.
Certifications:
Epic certification required within 3 6 months of hire or class completion.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of healthcare operations, billing workflows, and IT processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting an Epic EHR Billing module.
Understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes.
Experience working remotely with geographically distributed teams.
